Timeless Beauty. Built for Florida.

A concrete tile roof does more than transform the look of your home. It delivers lasting protection, natural energy efficiency and proven performance in demanding weather.

Gravity Roofing installs Eagle concrete roof tile in three distinctive profiles: classic Capistrano, versatile Malibu and sleek Bel Air. Each gives Central Florida homeowners the strength of concrete tile with a style designed to complement their home.

Don’t just take it from us,

More Than Curb Appeal

What Is Concrete Tile Roofing?

Concrete roof tile is a durable roofing material made primarily from sand, cement, water and mineral pigments. Individual tiles overlap to create a strong, long-lasting roof covering while allowing airflow between the tile and the roof deck.

The result is a roofing system that combines protection, energy efficiency and architectural character. Concrete tile can work with Mediterranean, Spanish, traditional, transitional and contemporary homes depending on the profile and color selected.

For Central Florida homeowners, it offers something especially valuable: a roof designed to look refined without sacrificing serious weather performance.

Protect Your Home.
Elevate Its Style.

Whether you prefer Capistrano’s classic curves, Malibu’s balanced profile or Bel Air’s clean lines, Gravity Roofing will help you compare the options and make a confident decision for your home.

Concrete tile roofing brings together lasting performance, energy-conscious design and architectural character in one complete system.

Why Choose a Concrete Tile Roof?

Made for Florida Weather

When installed using the appropriate tested high-wind methods, Eagle concrete tile roofing systems are available for applications designed to withstand sustained winds of up to 180 mph.

Approved systems are also available for use in the Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone. The correct wind rating depends on the complete roofing assembly, attachment method, roof design and applicable product approvals—not the tile alone.

Gravity Roofing will review the right system for your property, location and roof configuration before installation begins.

Naturally Energy-Efficient

Concrete tile roofing is energy-efficient by design.

The space beneath the tiles allows air to circulate between the tile and roof deck. The thermal mass of concrete also helps absorb, store and gradually release heat rather than transferring it immediately into the attic.

Reflective and lighter-colored options can provide additional help by reducing the amount of solar heat absorbed by the roof.

Class A Fire Resistance

Eagle concrete roof tile is a Class A roof covering, the highest classification available for roof-covering fire resistance.

Concrete tile does not warp, rust or bend, and it does not rely on petroleum-based materials to create its protective surface.

Standout Curb Appeal

Your roof is one of the largest visible design elements on your home. Tile creates depth, texture and architectural definition that is difficult to duplicate with a standard roofing material.

With curved, medium-profile and flat options—plus a broad range of warm, cool and blended colors—it can be tailored to suit both traditional and modern exteriors.

Built for Long-Term Performance

A properly installed and maintained concrete tile roof can last 45–75 years or more. That makes tile an excellent option for homeowners looking beyond the next replacement cycle and thinking about long-term value.

The tiles are dense, hard and resistant to many of the conditions that can cause other roofing materials to deteriorate, including strong sun, moisture and extreme weather.

Backed for the Long Haul

Eagle Roofing Products backs its concrete tile with a Transferable Limited Lifetime Product Warranty.

Warranty coverage is subject to Eagle’s terms, conditions, exclusions and registration requirements. Gravity Roofing will help explain the product and workmanship coverage connected to your project so you know exactly what is—and is not—included.

Explore Our Concrete Tile Profiles

The three profiles share the same core concrete-tile performance benefits. The main difference is architectural style, height and overall roofline.

Capistrano: Classic High-Barrel Style

Capistrano is a high S-profile tile with the traditional barrel-shaped silhouette most people associate with Mediterranean roofing.

Its deep curves create strong shadow lines and a highly dimensional roofscape. Capistrano works especially well with Spanish, Italian, Mediterranean and Florida-inspired architecture, as well as homes featuring stucco, stone or brick.

Capistrano may be right for you when you want:

  • A bold, high-profile roofline
  • Traditional Mediterranean character
  • Strong dimension and visual movement
  • A roof that becomes a defining architectural feature

Best described as: Classic, dramatic and timeless.

Malibu: Balanced and Versatile

Malibu is a medium-height concrete tile with a smooth double-S profile.

Its gentler curves provide more dimension than flat tile without creating the full barrel appearance of Capistrano. The result is a balanced profile that pairs Mediterranean warmth with a more contemporary finish.

Malibu works well on a wide variety of homes, including transitional, modern Mediterranean and expansive residential designs.

Malibu may be right for you when you want:

  • Visible shape without an overly dramatic barrel profile
  • A balance between traditional and contemporary
  • Smooth, flowing lines across the roof
  • A flexible style that complements many home designs

Best described as: Refined, versatile and dimensional.

Bel Air: Clean, Flat and Modern

Bel Air is Eagle’s popular low-profile tile, featuring a smooth surface, tailored lines and a clean square edge.

Its flat shape creates a sleek, orderly roofscape that pairs beautifully with modern architecture. It is also versatile enough to complement traditional homes, especially when selected in a dimensional blend.

Bel Air works well with pavers, stone, siding, contemporary landscaping and clean exterior lines.

Bel Air may be right for you when you want:

  • A flat, streamlined tile
  • Clean architectural lines
  • A polished modern or transitional look
  • A roof that resembles refined slate or flat clay tile

Best described as: Sleek, elegant and modern.

Tile Colors and Blends

Concrete tile is available in far more than traditional terracotta.

Eagle’s Florida Collection includes warm browns, creams, tans, reds, charcoals, light grays, deep grays, greens and dimensional blends. Certain colors are offered across multiple profiles, while others are specific to one profile or product collection.

Ranges vs. Blends

A range generally creates controlled variation within one primary color family.

A blend combines multiple complementary colors to create greater contrast and dimension across the roof.

Blended tile must be distributed carefully during installation. Proper staging and randomized placement help prevent unwanted patches of one color, sometimes called color hotspots.

Because concrete tile is made using natural materials, slight variation is expected. Screens, printed brochures, lighting and manufacturing batches can also affect how a color appears.

We strongly recommend reviewing a current physical tile sample before final approval.

Concrete Tile Roofing vs. Asphalt Shingles

Both materials can protect a home when properly selected and installed, but they serve different homeowner priorities.

The better option depends on your home, budget, structural conditions, long-term plans and preferred appearance. Gravity Roofing will explain the tradeoffs clearly rather than steering you toward a material that does not fit your property.

Concrete Tile Roofing

Concrete tile generally offers:

  • A significantly longer potential service life
  • Greater architectural depth and design variety
  • Natural ventilation beneath the tiles
  • Class A fire resistance
  • Strong wind performance with approved installation systems
  • Higher upfront cost
  • Greater installed weight
  • More specialized repair and installation requirements

Asphalt Shingle Roofing

Asphalt shingles generally offer:

  • A lower initial investment
  • Faster and less complex installation
  • Lower installed weight
  • Broad availability
  • A shorter expected service life than concrete tile
  • Less architectural depth
  • Greater sensitivity to long-term sun, heat and granule loss

Is Concrete Tile Right for Your Home?

Tile can be an excellent roofing choice, but it is not automatically the right system for every property.

Tile Is Heavier Than Many Other Roofing Materials

Concrete tile adds more weight to a roof than asphalt shingles and several metal roofing systems. Before recommending tile, Gravity Roofing evaluates the existing roof structure, decking, roof geometry and current roofing system. Some homes may require additional structural review or modifications before a tile roof can be installed. We would rather identify that upfront than sell you a system your home is not properly prepared to support.

Roof Pitch and Design Matter

Roof pitch, valleys, penetrations, transitions and architectural complexity all affect installation. Low-slope areas may require a different roofing material or specialized transition detail rather than tile.

The Underlayment Still Matters

The visible tile is only one part of the roofing system.Underneath it, the roof deck, underlayment, flashings, fasteners, ventilation and water-management details all play essential roles. Tile helps shed water and protect the system, but the full assembly must be designed and installed correctly.

Tile Requires Specialized Installation

Concrete tile is not a material that should be installed by a team unfamiliar with tile roofing.Correct layout, fastening, flashing, cutting, walking techniques and blended-color placement all matter. Poor installation can lead to cracked tiles, drainage problems, uneven appearance and avoidable repairs.
